As many of our loyal Designer Pages users know, in September 2009 we launched a common interest group and social network called the IDNY Meetup. Though we’ve typically always featured two speakers - one “emerging” and the other “established” in their respective fields, this month we decided to turn up the volume in a major way with a panel discussion about the future trends, technologies and opportunities facing architecture, today and tomorrow. We’re heading back to the Mohawk Group’s Chelsea showroom and featuring la crème de la crème (all Cornellians we’ll proudly add too).

Please join us on Thursday, April 8 at 6:30pm to hear:

James S. Russell, FAIA - Panel Moderator, U.S. Architecture Critic, Bloomberg

Dan Kaplan, AIA - Senior Partner, FXFOWLE Architects

Mustafa K. Abadan, FAIA - Design Partner, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill
Marianne Kwok, - Director, Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates

Todd Schliemann, FAIA - Design Partner, Polshek Partnership Architects

Scott Johnson, AIA - Associate Partner and COO, Richard Meier & Partners

The panel will be guided from questions we’ve gathered from our peers and the design community online and directed to each and/or several panelists in order of “urgency” as our esteemed moderator Mr. James Russell sees them.

There is still time to RSVP through meetup.com. We hope to see you there!
